Discover the missing keys to Transformation
Christianity has tended to focus on right beliefs and good choices as the key to spiritual growth. In the book, Renovated: God, Dallas Willard & the Church That Transforms, Dr. Jim Wilder explores the biblical and neuroscientific evidence that our character is shaped more by whom we love than what we believe.
Rather than simply summarizing the contents of the book, in the RENOVATED eCourse, Wilder unpacks the context of the core principles of RENOVATED, as well as offers greater application for these truths.
Unresolved emotional wounds stunt maturity and keep us from living out of the hearts Jesus has given us. Emotional healing sets hearts free to grow into the person God intended us to be!
You will hear from pioneers in multiple streams of emotional healing:
The world we live in is as polarized as it has ever been. Every issue that captures the national spotlight seems to become immediately politicized as fear and anger increase with each division. Most recently racial tensions have flared as film of white on black police brutality surfaced. The phrase “I can’t breathe” echoes in our hearts and expresses the pain of many who feel oppressed. Our prayers go out to our nation that God will move to uproot evil and heal a divided land.
Father in heaven,
We wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers. We know that in the heavenly realms there is a shaking taking place. There is a battle between the powers of darkness and the powers of Your kingdom. We do not see into that world, but we know the battle is real. May Your kingdom come, may Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Clear out the corruption in our institutions, grant justice to the oppressed, save us from lies and deceptions that inflame our hearts. May we take the log out of our own eyes so that we will be free to help others. Bring revival, we pray.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
