Life is a Journey. Joy is the Fuel. How Full is Your Tank?

Life is often full of challenges, struggles, unexpected pains and problems. And yet…

And yet! God has created us to live with joy in life’s journey. While we may not control our circumstances, we can cultivate a deepening walk with God that empowers us to live in joy – in both the good and the hard times.

Inspiration, Encouragement, Practical Wisdom, (+ Laughter!)

In this first-ever Deeper Walk Women’s Conference, you will be encouraged, inspired, and given practical insights from some outstanding women of God. None of them claim to have it all together. But as they share vulnerably and authentically out of both their successes and failures, you will be encouraged and given fresh wind in your sails, filling your tank with greater joy – no matter what life throws at you.

In this conference you’ll hear powerful messages from:

  • Stasi Eldredge – best-selling author of Defiant Joy and Captivating.

1. Defiant Joy in Suffering

Download Womens Conference 2021 Packet

Defiant joy is very different than mere defiance and it is completely different than denial. In this life, we often find ourselves in a place of suffering rather than a place of soaring. There is suffering, yes. The sorrow and grief that come to us are real and we have a God who is well acquainted with them. He doesn’t ask us to ignore them but to invite Him into it to bear them together. In every moment of our lives, we are called to have joy. Let’s discover together how that is possible no matter what life is throwing us on any given day.

2. Joy in our Healing

“Why?” It’s a tiny word and the enormous question that complex-trauma survivors ask as we work to reconcile the concept of an all-powerful, all-knowing, loving God with the reality of evil that we can’t help but take personally. This tiny, deeply discouraging question often creates a soul-sickness, causing life to feel like a chore. Yet God in His grace has gifted us with a tiny but mighty response: Joy. Jesus was clear about the gift of His pervasive joy, generating a stream of prompts to remind you that the unviolated core of who you truly are is intact and safe in His love. So how can you recognize and respond to the constant notifications of His love? One tiny celebration at a time. As a Behavior Design Teacher and Tiny Habits® Coach, I’ll show you how to design your strategy for discovering joy in the healing journey & it’s as easy as A-B-C.

3. Joy in our Victory in Christ

We often talk about our victory in Christ but it’s difficult to live in that victory every day. This session will provide practical tools for fighting the good fight against the enemy as we seek to live out the calling God has placed on our lives. Saturated in Scripture, we will focus on Psalm 91 and Ephesians 6, and learn more about picking up our weapons of prayer, God’s Word, and the armor. Judy will also share some from her father Mark Bubeck’s teaching on our victory in Christ.

4. Joy in our Work

Fresh out of college, in her first “real job,” Dawn Whitestone was so miserable she became suicidal. Then she was fired. Today, she is a business consultant who helps organizations and individuals find joy, purpose and greater productivity at work. What happened? Come hear the rest of the story and learn practical tips you can use to find joy in your work.

5. Joy in our Parenting

Parenting is a blast. Life doesn’t get better than this until…I feel overwhelmed, children don’t obey, I am exhausted and easily irritated. That is no fun! Learn why joy is one of the most critical ingredients in raising healthy children. Pamela Mutz and Lori Mutz Alt will encourage and equip you with heart-warming stories of both victory and defeat.
