“A bruised reed He will not break…”

Everyone suffers from a wounded heart.

But some people have been so deeply wounded, they have what is known as “complex trauma.”

A deeply wounded person is someone experiencing multiple issues in their lives that make it complicated to see healing unfold. It can be difficult to know how to get at the root issues involved so they can begin to make progress in their journey toward wholeness.

People with complex trauma need someone who can come alongside them and skillfully help them in their journey – a journey that often may last years, not just a few sessions.

Who is this For?

This conference is open to anyone who wants to learn more about complex trauma. It will be especially helpful for mental health professionals, pastoral care ministers, and lay people involved in care ministry.

You’ll have the opportunity to learn from people doing a similar line of work, letting you know that you are not alone on this often lonely road of ministering to the deeply wounded.
